Simon Hoar and Robert Coombs, joint owners of MGRS Ltd, have over 40 years of accumulative experience in main dealer vehicle servicing and repairs. Having previously learned their trade as MG Rover and Ford service centre specialists, the pair launched their own independent business in 2009 and have invested in the equipment and knowledge to allow them to service all models and makes of vehicle.
MGRS Ltd has since been nominated as a regional finalist in the nationwide '2010 Golden Garages' competition, run by Motor Codes, the body responsible for the self regulation of the motor repair industry.

But what happens if you purchased a vehicle recently that still has time to run on the manufacturer warranty period? European legislation is quite clear, and contradicts what some manufacturers will have you believe - a motorist will not invalidate his/her warranty if the car has been serviced outside the dealer network so long as the vehicle has been serviced using parts of similar quality to those originally fitted and to the vehicle manufacturer's guidelines. MGRS Ltd ensures that, with your permission, only parts of an equivalent quality to those that were originally fitted to the vehicle when it was assembled are used when servicing cars that are still under the manufacturer's warranty. Top notch honest service. They test drove my vehicle with me (Audi A3) to identify a fault and then were happy to let me 'watch' as they carried out further investigations on the ramp.
